Who is out there for Ward apart from the winner of Froch and Kessler?

Hopkins - high risk low reward
    Abraham - already beaten him
    Pascal - Froch beat him
    Bute - exposed
DeGale - possibly but won't bring no cash to the table
Groves - Booth won't let Groves anywhere near him
Dawson - would the fight be any different at light heavyweight? Probably not

So who is out there for Ward?

Why should he fight winner of Froch vs Kessler? He beat their asses worse than anyone else he faced in super 6. If pascal beats bute, he should move up to 175 and take him on.

From a legacy point of view I think he needs someone to come along, clear out and unify at Light Heavyweight and he then steps up for massive fight against them, maybe Kovalev could do it, not seen enough of him to be sure.

The winner of the Froch vs Kessler fight is a fine fight for now, though I'm sure Ward beats either comfortably.

There's literally nothing there for him IMO. He beat the other top SMs and the top LH and rematches would likely have the same result. Nobody else at 168lbs wants to fight him because A. He's too good and B. He doesn't draw any money so they wouldn't at least make a good payday. At 175lbs Hopkins has said no way, Dawson has already been whooped and fighting Cleverly or Shuemenov would be embarrassing.

He's completely stuck in my opinion. It's sad to say but I think he'll become another Joe Calzaghe. Amazing fighter but he'll spend most of his career defending poor - mediocre opposition in his hometown because no one else wants to know.

He will fight Hopkins on PPV late this year.

Unfortunately theres nothing of real interest.

In large part because he's simply too good, and too well rounded for his rivals and we've already seen him against them and they weren't particularly enthralling affairs in the first place, so there is no great clamour to see it again.

Luckily for him his record is outstanding, so he can get away with treading water for a while, but I think he'll have to move to LHW soon and maybe hope a few more exciting prospects come along.

The winner of Pascal/Bute in Montreal will be the biggest money fight for him.

Agreed, he beats either easy though. I doubt it would sell anywhere but Canada.

Beat Froch for the IBF title and a huge payday. Then move up to LHW.

Best thing for Ward IMO would be for Bute to destroy Pascal, bring back the hype and fights Ward in Canada.

I think a fight against the winner of Froch/Kessler in either England or Denmark would enhance his record, if he were to win. And be good financially

A fight with Bute/Pascal in Canada would be good financially aswell, would make sense if either impress this year.

I can't see the Hopkins fight happening.

Perhaps fighting Dawson at 175lbs might just put any doubts to bed.

How plausible is a fight with Martinez? Perhaps Martinez is too small.

Hometown decision did froch more of a favour than Ward, it seems. The Atlantic City scores were shameful
