    "I slipped" is the worst...especially when a guy like Casamayor uses it everytime he get wobbled/hurt/knocked down.

    That's all perfect except for the Teddy Atlas one.

    Make up a comparison between two things that are in no way shape or form comparable, force it into a sentence and stretch it out to make it sound smart and you got your Atlas-ism.

    My favorite Big George quote was always "he's still dangerous". I found this hilarious because he would typically say this about the guy that was in the process of getting ko'd.

    Not really a phrase but more of a mannerism... all ex-boxers throw punches as they are talking about them. "He's got to get his jab out" *Barry McGuigan gets in his stance and 'throws his jab out'*

    But you also have to repeat yourself over and over again and use different stupid analogies to make the same point over and over.
