 "HE CANT GET HIT WITH THOSE SHOTS"

is his classic line. as you have said after the fighter gets falls into anything remotly classed as a punch

things that he has said that have made me do this exact pose >:huh

    "he's like a quarterback...."

    "his punches.....are a little short....a little wide....there fat"

"this is whats wrong with boxing"

"i feel lee will ko vera (pause for 30 secs) with that right hook (pause for 30 secs) kinda early"
not only is this statement a complete opposite of what happend, but he tries to cover it up through the fight by blaming lee's corner/lee's stamina/lee's heritage...:patsch you got it wrong dont have to be that proud of yourself.

I don't like the adage "You've got to beat the champion."

    No kidding!

Seriously, if the champion loses by scores of 115-114, yes, he still loses. The championship is up for grabs at the sound of the opening bell, and the real champion is the one who actually wins in the ring. So I just don't like the bias to this adage.

In this forum users very often repeat things word for word that HBO commentators said but say them as if they thought up the idea.

Very often a fighter or especially a commentator like Emanuel Steward uses some boxing vernacular or phrase, and MANY people on this forum start using the term constantly. "Check hook" is a perfect example, but there are many others.

You lose a lot of credibility talking on this forum in my opinion, if you are repeating things almost word for word that someone said on an HBO broadcast. I notice that a lot of the people that do it, when it comes to topics they don't have Steward or Lampley feeding them things to say about, they don't seem to have a CLUE what they're talking about.
