What are cotto chances against May?

About 50/50... he either wins or he doesn't

 

I think he has a better chance than most give him. Cotto has problems with fighters with high workrate, he always has done. Cotto had problems with Torres, Margarito and Pacquiao, and all those fighters have one thing in common and that's they fight at a high pace. Cotto likes to have a breather, he likes to fight at a nice pace where he's in full control.

Mayweather fights at a slower pace where he doesn't throw many combo's any more, so that suits Cotto better. Mayweather has been getting hit more in his last few fights aswell. He got caught agaiinst Mosley and even Ortiz snapped floyd's head right back with a couple of good shots and cotto is better than those two.

 

Cotto won't be in control, regardless of the pace.

In full control of his stamina, not in full control as in the way the fight goes. I don't think Floyd will put Cotto in a serious situation to be honest as floyd doesn't like going all out to put a serious beating like he used to in the lower weights. Even against Ortiz, Floyd threw combos and when Ortiz got through them and came back, floyd looked quite vulnerable on the ropes. A few times Floyd got caught against a boxer who shouldn't of caused him to many problems. Maybe all the inactivity is finally catching up with floyd. He is 35 aswell. IMO, floyd hasn't looked as good as he did since his latest comeback.

 

Mayweather will be too good as usual.

 

Be ready when May stops Cotto this Saturday night. Ortiz got him with a good headbutt, but he was 2-3 rds from getting stopped. He got hit a lot in rds. 3-4 and if the fight continued Mayweather would've stopped him. Cotto will be eating right hands, left hooks all night long, he won't be competitive after the 2nd round.

 

None whatsoever. Come Saturday night he will get his ass beat and all the clowns that were saying that Cotto was gonna knock Floyd out, will say he was shot. You know, the norm.

I'm ready to watch a good fight. If Mayweather stops Cotto, then that'll be a brilliant result for him. Only one left is Pacquiao because Pacquaio will destroy the wide punching Bradley. Mayweather technically should be too good for pacquiao aswell, but i'm not sure if Floyd is actually scared of pacquiao, he seems to be.

 

None, Mayweather is the king, if you think Pacquiao is the man, you don't know nothing about boxing

 

Floyd wins unless something stupid like Roger jumps to ring during round or Floyd throws sucker punches and gets DQed.
I have a feeling that 154 peaks 35yo May's power. Hopefully he pays back the Ortiz-stain for his fans by using it..
