Chambers slips punches just fine, much better then Haye, but his foot movement is..meh.

The lost to Povetkin probably the best thing that ever happened to Chamber's career.

Very little chance unfornately, although I'm not counting out a Chambers victory. But Chambers can't beat Wlad by trying to stalk him down like he did against Dimitrenko.

thats what i was thinking a couple of rounds in.

chambers took the centre of the ring, slowly backing dimi up with his guard up like chagaev does. he fought in spurts getting in close and throwing punches from the inside

against wlad he wont be able to walk about the ring like that taking jabs and straight rights, it will be like chagaev all over again. neither will he get on the inside, wlad will tie him up and move around a lot better than dimitrenko did. wlad will dominate like usual, and hit chambers easily, probably stopping him in the middle rounds as per usual

in fairness, chambers has earned his shot and beaten enough 'top' fighters, and he deserves a fight with wlad. but his chances are so slim, and it will be such a boring fight without much hype leading up to it that i wouldn't look forward to it. if the fight happens- wladimir to dominate and win easily

Eddie would probably get swelled up to the point where the ref or doc stops it.

Yeah, Wlad would soften him up and take him out late. It would pretty much look like all of Wlad's other fights. You can make the case that Chambers could end up going the distance but he'd have to take a ton of right hands to make it there. Tony Thompson came as close as anyone can while taking those bombs and he went down in the 11th. That's an accumulative effect that will either lead to a knockout blow or have you just retire on your stool ala Chagaev.

But right now it's Chambers time! Can't touch this!

chambers would get knocked out by vitali in 4 rounds and by wlad in 8 rounds, but i think he has a good shot against haye, and chagaev would beat eddie via ud

Chambers is a damn good fighter. He is a world class hw and the best American fighter north of 175. That was a very good performance. Hope he always comes in close to 200 now. His movement and output were definetely improved. Let's hope he starts calling out those frauds, Arreola and Haye.

He earned his shot. Brilliant boxing.
Vs A wlad and stewart, they may get a hold on it.
But if he boxes like tonight, he can get in a few licks...Chagaov was always some what slow.

Agree on the Chagaev prediction- he may even stop fast Eddie.
But props to Eddie on this one, esp on the 4th of July.
