Making weight is simple, train hard, eat right, don't fight at a weight you can't make without dehydrating.
Versaclimber is the best bit of cardio equipment in my gym.

Hey I never used a steam room but heard it's real good.
Do you think I could take off 10 pounds of water weight with the Steam Room, and how long would I have to stay in there or how many sessions and for how long to lose 10 pounds of water weight in a way that wouldn't effect my performance?

Dehydrating your body ALWAYS affects performance and increases the likelihood of sustaining cuts, exhaustion, suffering a KO and serious issues like brain bleeds.
Don't rely on day before saunas etc, it isn't safe.

He is not just talking about using sauna, dehydrating your self to much is dangerous whatever method you use.

Would say you should naturally lose weight through diet and the right training, the rest can be done through water weight but you only have a few hours to rehydrate so don't go overboard on how much you sweat down to.

And yes 10 pounds is to much to drain yourself off water weight and to fight the same day.

I am not Educated on the topic of The Sauna so i'm only guessing feel free to educate me on the topic. But What if you only need to lose 5 pounds and you sit in the Sauna for a hour early in the Morning. And you lose the 5 pounds (in water weight) Then you don't eat and just rest and Relax to you weigh in at 5 o clock then you eat and drink some pedialyte,Would you be able to perform at a high level?Or Would the effects of the Sauna Bring you down some to maybe 75-90 percent of your best?

So if you fight you will start at 90 percent in the best case Scenario Since using the Sauna way earlier in the Day and in the worse case Scenario you would begin the Fight at 75 Percent,Is that a Accurate Assessment?

I never used a sauna to prepare for a fight, so I can't comment on that. However, I will say that my routine is very simple - limit how much I drink in the 24 hrs before my fight (i.e. only drink a small amount whenever I am thirsty) and have always been able to effortlessly drop 4 or 5 pounds. And I'm a pretty small guy - 140 pounds. So, in my opinion - this hardly even qualifies as "dehydrating" - but rather.....shedding excess water weight (which many of us carry around from simply drinking more than we need to).

This is safe to do, and you can easily re-hydrate in a couple of hours.

Of course, you can make the process easier by cutting out salty foods in the last few days to reduce fluid retention - and maybe drinking large amounts of water the week of the fight, so that your body gets used to peeing large amounts of water - then in the last 24 hours, your body is still expelling the same amount of water, even though you've reduced your fluid intake.

It's quite easy - and no drastic weight cutting or dehydrating is required.

Ima try that Drink like 64 ounces of water a day for a whole week then 5pm Friday drink 8 ounces of water then don't drink any water till 5pm Saturday. Like that is that Correct? The Reason i choose 5pm Saturday is because fights are usual Saturday and the weigh ins are at 5pm.

You need to do some research instead of just throwing out silly ideas like this.

Managing weight for a fight can be a tricky thing.. I follow some simple ways that cut weight kindof slow but makes me feel good..

1.. About half an hour before every meal drink lots of water. Drink more during the day better yet, carry a drink bottle so you keep small intakes all the time. Mostly you dont differ whether you are thirsty or hungry and end up eating too much !!
2.. Your training session are gonna be tough on your body so help yourself out with some food suplements. For me Protein works best for muscle strength, some low carbohydrate powder for quick energy, and vitamins and minerals to balance the diet.. You have to be very careful with the food stuff..
3.. Eating small meals like about 5 times in a day, rather than large chunks twice a day, is better.. It keeps the metabolism levelled.. Lets tour body hold just the right amount of weight..

It's more what you eat and when not just eating 5 meals a day.
