I question Fury's focus right now and I think Hrgovic has a better chance than Wilder. He has the best right hand in the division apart from Wilder and maybe Makhmudov and while he doesn't hit as hard as Wilder, if he can hurt Fury, he's a better finisher than Wilder and maybe can put him away.

But he's still a big underdog. I give him maybe a 15% chance.

The Hrgovic that fought Zhang gets schooled and stopped in the later rounds by Fury. However this is not the fight we want but it would do as would either Ruiz or Zhang until the Usyk fight. Pity Fury can’t get away to America and sort his head out tbh .

He will kill the greedy belly. Easy work for Hrgovic.

Voted 10 to 20%. I think he showed a lot of grit and resolve against Zhang coming back from being hurt and hitting the canvas and showed a great gas tank and fought hard in the second half of the fight yes he showed vulnerabilities but I think Zhang has proven himself and that hard night he had seems more excusable

I think hrgovic is a more exciting opponent than Whyte Or chisora and and is a dangerous fighter. Wilder was able to drop Fury a couple times in their third fight and fury is getting fatter and less mobile and easier to hit I think there's at least a chance that he could hurt Fury and grit out a win but I think it's a small chance and fury would have to help him by having a bad night. I'd endorse it given the availability of the field

    Less than 10%

He is deceptively skilled and has the size to compete with super-HWs like Fury, but he lacks the killer edge and mental fortitude to deal with Fury down the stretch

He looked like he would rather be anywhere else than be in the ring with Zhang

20-30%; that's how I voted. I see that the majority gave Hrgović less chance than I did. But the point of this thread is what shape would Fury be in for this fight. If Fury were to get ready to fight like never before, then I'd give Hrgovic a 20% chance; the most. Hrgović is a better all-around boxer than Wilder, but he doesn't have as much of a nuclear right hand. Nor does he have the ring IQ of Fury.

    None...

Hrgovic is decent but Fury is levels above

More chance of Beyonce asking me to duet with her on her world tour than Fury taking on Hrgovic.

(That said Fury would likely win)

I mean, the fight is not happening, but Fury is obviously falling apart at this point, so...

Then again Hrgovic is bang average.

I guess it is a matter of who stinks worse.

Depends on the size of the spare tire around Fury's waist, if it's a 245 R19 Hrgovic might have a chance but he can't win if he doesn't stop him as the judges will give it to Fury

Hurgo goes very negative when he gets tagged. Not a total lump for his size though. His footspeed is better than Zhang's. Fury boxes around Zhang rather easily just has to avoid a danger left hand whilst Hurgo is a slightly more technical boxer to overcome but can be done so easily.

Problem is Fury would not get up for Hurgo. Very low reward for the risk. Ends up in a Wallin situation is worst case scenario. Cut eye. Fanboys screaming, crying, defecating themselves at ringside. Still gets a fairly clear decision.

I'll be honest I was too harsh on Hurgo with his Zhang performance it's so easy to forget how big these men are. How hard they hit. How hard the shots they are taking are. Hurgo has some movement about him and that is always impressive for a big man.

Eddie Hearn only dropping Hurgo's name because he would NOT DARE put his bum bodybuilder near him and I bet AJ did fairly well sparring this guy but they know sparring ain't fighting.

Better than people think. I don't think Fury is in a good place at present and Hrgovic is good enough that Fury needs to be professional, i.e. he can't roll out of bed one morning and beat him.

Fury is the rightful favourite but given what Zhang did to Joyce, Hrgovic is definitely a live dog here. I would say 75/25 in Furys favour
