Hrgovic is a very good fighter. Frankly, I think his performance against Zhang only looks better after we saw what Zhang did to Joe Joyce.

Hrgovic can throw really fast combinations. He can fight Fury on the outside. I'd give him a really good shot at winning.

Although, I think it might shake out like Larry Holmes-Carl Williams did, where Hrgovic boxes all night with Fury, maybe busts Fury up a little, and, in the end, when people think Hrgovic's hand will be raised, Fury will get the nod.

Still, I'd love to see Fury-Hrgovic. If you wanted to see a real boxing match between two really really big heavyweights, you'd get it with those two.

You don't know really. Because people make out that Fury is some sort of head to head beast. The reality is he's only ever thought two top level foes. One of which was one of the most uncoordinated and technically limited rated fighters of all time. The rest of Fury's fights he's been pushed to the wire time and time again against regional level fighters. Hrgovic is clearly more skilled than Wilder. He obviously doesn't have Wilder's get of jail card, his power to cover his awful technqiue. Hrgovic isn't over 40 like Klitschko so he has that on Fury. If a good hungry skilled fighter gets Fury on one of his many off nights he's had against regional fighters. Then it's good night Fury.

Hrgovic is skilled and has good size but hes a bit like Tony Tucker to me, just lacking motivation or something. The sum is less than the parts and I can't see him being a champion despite an overall impressive toolbox

Exactly. There is a reason why Fury is fighting top guys constantly. If he would, his resume and 0 would have been different.
Plenty of hungry and different type of skilled young guys to fight, and he has chosen not to do so, and the reason is clear.
