What are opinions on Ricky Burns now

Colin Lynes is now the man at welterweight. Why? People didn't think he'd beat Purdy so he's shown he's the man :deal

 

Still not sold on Burns, he has beaten very technically flawed bangers, world class but I think Burns struggles with a technical boxer like Marquez, Vasquez Guerrero to name a few.

 

Excellent performances against Martinez and Kats. Lets hope and pray he doesnt continue with the Layera's Evensen's and Cooke's of this world

Agree with this, Burns has a lot of potential and is a good fighter, now's the time to push on and fight continuous world class fighters, if he fights a tomato can next I will lose a lot of respect for him, he's past that stage.
