What are some examples of physically weak fighters who were big punchers?

Having a thin frame doesn't automatically mean you're weak.

Johnny Owen was a prime example of this. He was very frail built but very strong in the ring.

Eugene Cyclone Hart had a Monster Left Hook, but when he went up in class he usually Lost - Even Boogaloo Watts stopped him in the 1st !
or Perhaps Eugene had a frail mentality ?

I agree about his legs, but not the rest of his body- his arms and torso were very strong. His legs were like 140 pound guys legs and his torso was like a middleweights. So his legs had trouble sometimes holding it all up. When he fought Shuler he looked strong.

Hart had a legitmately touchy chin. Briscoe had him going probably a half dozen times in their first fight but could never quite get him out of there.

In the second fight he all out blitzed him from the start and sparked him in the first.

Anyway, Hart was very, very muscular. He had freakish upper body strength from being in a wheel chair for the early parts of his life which was partly responsible for that ungodly left hook.

Do you have any idea how big Witherspoon's shoulders were?

Physically weak looking. Not how tough they looked. Some skinny guys look like scrappy little *******s.

Forgot about Hart. He had polio when he was a kid and was confined to a wheelchair his arms got strong but his legs never really were fully developed

Joe may have looked weak against Foreman, but George was probably the physically strongest world class heavyweight of all time. Smoke displayed excellent physical strength against Quarry and Ali, pushing Jerry back into punching position with quick forearm shoves, and yanking Ali off the ropes during the FOTC. Until Foreman came along, Joe was widely recognized for his physical strength.
I think SRR might be a better example. I'm not sure how well he would have done in a wrestling ring.
