I'd expect Dawson vs Ward to have the level of skill and intesity that May vs Cotto had. I love these sort of fight where both fighters possess an excellent overall package (no pun intended, nothing subliminal)

I think when you put in two technical guys, you expect a boxing clinic but what you usually get is a one-sided fight.

    Example: Chambers vs. Wlad

    Example: Floyd vs. Marquez

    Example: Froch vs. Johnson

Given that Wlad and Floyd enjoyed size advantages and Froch had the age advantage, all of those fights were not close.

One finds a hole to exploit, uses that until they make adjustments, then finds the next.. etc..

Better matchups are technical fighters vs. athletic guys. Something like Pacquaio vs. Marquez, Barrera vs. Morales or Kessler vs. Froch.

How about Toney vs Jirov? Toney's getting alot of mentions, one guy who fought in a defensive manner but still managed to be entertaining more often than not.

You don't know what you are missing. McCallum vs Watson is also an exciting technical ass whooping.
