I haven't seen that much from him, but since he has a fight vs GGG that I'm definitely going to watch I may as well familiarize myself with him. Educate me.

His stoppage over Senchenko was pretty good. As was his complete beat down of Matthew Hatton. Way more conclusive than what Canelo did to him. I know Matthew is the less talented of the brothers but he is very durable.

The Rafal Jackiewicz fight is very good. He was a top 10 rated fighter and Brook dismantled him stopping him for the first time in his career.

The Lovemore Ndou and Matthew Hatton fights are impressive if you bare in mind Canelo fought them both outside their own weight class shortly before hand and Brook handles them even easier at their best weight.

People will complain about the opposition but he is also the only guy who stopped the last 3 opponents and they aren't as bad as say, the people Wilder's fought since being champ, and Brook deals with them without needing to leave first gear.

That's the problem, as world champion he should be fighting top tier competiton, not fighting D level opposition and barely getting out of 1st gear.

    Jo JO Dan,
    Gavin,
    Carson Jones 2,
    Kevin Bizier

These are some of his notable reasonable fights. He totally dominates and demloishes all of them in style.

But two was mandatories and one was the top rated guy in the IBF taken at a months notice on a card he wasn't orginally scheduled for. And you can blame the IBF for that, but quite a lot of top tier fighters turned down the chance to fight to become mandatory opting for a different route.

If you look at the fact Vargas was the highest profile welterweight prepared to fight him but still wanted over $2m while Brook was working on commission (basically he makes money from what the fight generates and with nobody knowing who Vargas is in the UK and take out the Vargas guarantee, he'd probably earn less for fighting Vargas) it shows how difficult it was to find fighters willing to duke it out with Brook. Bare in mind the biggest stars in the division are either PBC and Top Rank and they'd rather risk defeats in house than for Brook to profit from it.

Me too. I think Vargas getting something like 4 times Brook according to estimates- when let's be honest, because it's a UK PPV and in Brook's hometown- the money generated would be a lot more due to Brook being involved than Vargas- is ludicrous.

With Golovkin however, he brings his own fanbase and the US TV interest, and with the model where the Matchroom fighter makes his money out of what the PPV and live gate generate, he may end up doing better than GGG.
