What are some good polish prospects/contenders to look out for in the cruiserweight or heavyweight?

None at HW. They're either washed up or already went bust like Kownacki.

Cieslak is still in the mix despite coming up short against Makabu. That's about it.

    CW:

Michał Cieślak - slightly lost to Makabu but fight was controversial (irregular rounds, surrounding, payment etc). He has still room to grow and become something more than a brawler he is now. If he manages to keep strong chin in the future (knowing his all-in offence style) - he should be a champion someday.
    He is 30, though.

Other CW are either fringe contenders (Masternak) or washed-up big names (Diablo Włodarczyk, Szpilka).

Nikodem Jeżewski who is gonna challenge EBU-EU title is european level fighter. He lost by TKO to Cieślak (but wight was called NC) and is just average.

Others are trash (i.e Adam Balski)

    HW:

Kownacki is done. Chin is crushed. He used to take too many punches (especially from Arreola) and will never recover. Always fat, bad cardio and absolutely no-D. He would be given a good chance again because he has some name and sells a lot of tickets in USA.

Łukasz Różański & Marcin Siwy are next-gen Albert Sosnowski&Tomasz Bonin. They have so-so technique, relevant power, absolutely no cardio and unproven toughness against bigger competition.
Their main advantage is their "0" in the record and they would serve as a dish to some Daniel Dubois or Tony Yoka.
