An old George Foreman clearly beat Shannon Briggs.

I think people confuse debatable decisions with bad decisions and robberies.

There have been very few 'mainstream' robberies, a fair few bad decisions and many debatable decisions.

For example (using Sweet Pea) Ramirez/Whitaker is a robbery; Whitaker/Chavez was bad and Whitaker/De La Hoya was debatable.

    Young Stribling vs. Mike McTigue
Bryan Downey vs. Johnny Wilson, probably the most flagrant in history
    Gunboat Smith vs. Georges Carpentier

What you mean? Liston gave up after round six and Clay was declared a winner by TKO.

    I'm not having it mate.

It was a close but clear decision for Liston.

I think Lewis v Holyfield qualifies.

I haven't seen any of them.I believe Smith may have been the victim of a referee being over zealous in his interpretation of the rules, but he is generally recognized as being a competent and honest third man.I saw a couple of fights recently where a boxer hit his opponent whilst he was on the floor ,and not even the commentators remarked on it.
