The heavyweight division is seen as being at an all-time low in the eyes of many, so aside from the obvious, which is unifications, which we're apparently on our way to seeing pretty soon, what in your opinion are some entertaining matches to be made to give the heavyweight division a shot in the vein?

How about this for a Co-Main Event???

Call it "Something for Everyone" where we have two somewhat important heavyweight fights that could both prove to be entertaining.

Sam Peter vs. Nicolay Valuev- a heavyweight slugfest/circus sideshow where hopefully Peter brutally KO's the massive giant propelling the young HW into rock star status.

Chris Byrd vs. Eddie Chambers- a potential snorefest but a tactical fight fans wet dream and hopefully the passing of the torch from one feather fisted slickster to another.

A card like this is reasonably feasable and could serve the HW division well if shown on free TV.

    Valouev would knock Peter out!

Vitali Klitschko Vs. the winner of Maskaev/Peter. Do not be surprised if Oleg beats Peter. However, if Peter were to win, look for Don King to try and get out of the contract as long as possible. Vitali will kill Peter, knock him out cold.

By the way, Chagaev would beat Peter, so would Sultan Ibragimov. If Vlad ever fights Peter again, he will knock the fraud Peter out also.

I would've leaned more towards Valuev vs. Wlad.

Send Joe Pesci into any stinky fight with a baseball to start kicking ass and breaking kneecaps.

Let Povetkin face more contenders and big names on the way down - like Rahman, Ruiz etc. and send them into retirement

    Wlad vs. Valuev

    Wlad vs. Peter rematch

    Wlad vs. winner of Chagaev/Ibragimov

    Vitali vs. winner of Peter/Maskaev

Understandable. I decided to leave current titleholders off the card in the hopes that we're getting closer to unification. Ideally, I'd love to see Wlad unify the crown convincingly and then get knocked into oblivion by a young slugger, preferably a guy like Peter. As raw, limited and unpolished as he is I think he could bring some attention back to the heavies. I have nothing against Wlad but unless somebody is going to get on board and hype him up, he's doing nothing for the division.

    Comical.

Peter is going to destroy Maskaev.

As for Vitali, how about we see if he can even make it through a fuccin training camp before we crown his the undisputed HW king? Whata ya think?

The guy hasn't fought in years, is damaged goods and is OLD. Hello??? Anyone home??? :hi:
