Hey Raiden have you seen Geraldo/Nunn? I watched a little of it and was trying to make up my mind if it was fixed like a poster here said many moons ago. Geraldo is one of those fighters that's clearly so much better than their statistical record. What do you think?

Haven’t seen that one yet but would like to check it out. Geraldo was quite underrated.

I see it on Dailymotion... not on Youtube. I imagine it was on Youtube at one point and the channel it was on got the ban hammer.

Ever watch any MMA? There was a knockout a few years ago between Edson Barboza and Shane Burgos... It was a delayed KO that reminded me of the Galaxy bout. I've heard others chalk it up to the weight cutting practices of Thai athletes in general. I'm not sure what to believe.

Ugh I always hated watching that, as something of a Brown fan.

Mwale wasn't a bad fighter either. He was noted to have great power and was a good (if fairly basic in the Carbajal mold ) boxer-puncher too, but not durable enough for that sort of static textbook skillset in such a tough division. One odd thing about his career is that he somehow got a final shot at Virgil Hill literally almost a decade since he had last beaten another contender (Mustafa Wasajja in 1983).

I have talked to a few boxing guys about Marcos geraldo- they managed guys that fought him, or trained guys. They all said the same thing; it took him a minute to get into a fight. If you got on him early it was better for you, put him in a hole that he would have to fight out of, or catch him cold and hurt him. But, if you let him get into a fight, you would be fighting that man all night.
