Martini has denied Wladimir Klitschko's application for preliminary injunctive relief against the International Boxing Federation and DaVarryl Williamson. Klitshcko filed the lawsuit in an effort to obtain mandatory contender status in the IBF rankings and to block Williamson from obtaining mandatory status.

DaVarryl Williamson will now be designated as the mandatory challenger to IBF heavyweight champion Chris Byrd. There were negotiations held a few months ago to put together a Klitschko-Byrd in rematch, but the bout fell apart due to multiple disputes over where the fight would take place

Wlad never assured Williamson that he was going to give him a rematch which is the entire premise behind your weak argument.

I've already destroyed it and yet you continue to bring up more irrelevant quotes which only show further proof that the situation was in no way comparable to Lewis being ordered to fight Vitali after giving him his word that he would give him a rematch.

No one cared about Williamson, Wlad never retired after fighitng him and went on to fight better fighters with titles. Why would he waste time in a rematch when he was winning the first fight?

If Williamson was ahead on the scorecards then your argument would have some weight. The fact is he was getting beaten and lost nearly every round, which is why no one was really pushing for a rematch, least of Wladimir.
