To the very first professional opponent of Thomas Hearns "This guy can't punch his way out of a paperbag. Go right at him." After Hearns scored only 12 kos in 200 amateur fights.

Yes Davies is a fraud but Fury`s best round was the tenth though:

Hamed`s trainer going against Steward`s advise to throw combo`s and not load up on one shot v Barrera, Steward couldn`t get a word in while working in the prince`s corner.

Rafael Ruelas on the floor against Gutierrez and looking to his corner. One of the Duva Clan is showing the referees count with his fingers to Ruelas, unfortunatly the referee is one or two seconds in front of the cornerman.

Special mention for Jack Dempsey to count to "Nine" as Tom Heeney rose in the third round against Max Baer. Then the timekeeper said that he had counted to "Ten" and Dempsey gave the fight to Baer on a knockout.
Impressive!! Dempsey were probably paid more to act as a referee that the two boxers got for boxing. (Joe Walcott, Joe Louis and Dempsey were terrible referees.)

Rahman’s team devised a tactic where Rahman would stick his arm out to catch Lewis’s overhand right instead of rolling with it or keeping his glove tight to his face. Lewis threw a right straight around Rahman’s arm and Ko’d him cleanly.

I think Duff saw that Starling was eating Honeyghan alive as he came forward. Starling loved guys who came forward. Starling did not like it when guys moved and boxed and he was forced to come forward. I think this was sound advice. But, Honeyghan had already taken a beating and his legs looked weak by the time he tried to move and box. And, it wasn't his forte, anyway.

Ray Leonard mentioned that Lloyd telegraphed his shots too much and left his right hand low while jabbing.

Hagler's corner vs. SRL. I'm not sure there was good advice the entire fight.

Victor Valle in Cooney's corner vs Larry Holmes, the only way Cooney wins this fight is by KO, and Victor told Cooney to box and move , like he was going to outbox Holmes geez!

That would make Duva’s meltdown immediately after the stoppage shamelessly disingenuous and hypocritical.

I have an apparently extremely controversial opinion on that fight, but in my opinion Fury looked busy doing nothing for the entire fight. He made Wilder look bad, but in terms of doing his own work he didn't outshine Wilder when it came to effective punches landed.

David Lemieux's corner against Billy Joe Saunders. More for lack of advise, but I was going crazy at home telling David to stop following and to start cutting off the ring. He was stepping the wrong way the entire fight and earned himself zero chance at getting his punches off. Gave Billy Joe an easy night of circling out of the way the entire time. Maybe I missed the advise for Lemieux not to follow, but honestly it wasn't a difficult fight for his corner to tell him needed adjustments to give him a better chance at winning.

Lou Duva almost single-handedly lost the Chavez fight for Taylor. Between 11 and 12 told Taylor that the fight was hanging in the balance and he had to fight, and then jumping on the ring apron and distracting him when Steele was asking him if he was ok giving Steele a reason to stop the fight
