Yep. I like Popovic, and feel he deserves success as a manager as he never ever got to a world cup as a player. The footage of him walking of inconsolible in Montevideo in 2001 still stands clear in my mind (I think he was there when it somehow all went wrong against Iran too).He played in the qualifier against Uruguay in 2005, played well too and nailed his kick with ease in the shoot out, yet months later he failed a medical due to having an irregular heartbeat or something like that.


Despite it being their maiden season, they feel like the original Sydney team, as Sydney has always had a massive football community and interest out west. Sydney FC really feel like the new comers, especially when it comes to their fans.

Kagsy got the City beat mate if we **** it up this season then they will never get promoted , hopefully I get to see city in the top division and take my son and grandson down to witness our small city play some of the top guns in world club football .

 

Would be awesome mate to watch City play Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool, Chelsea & the Arsenal etc.

I would love to see Leeds back in the Premier League and also love to see both Celtic and Rangers get the chance one day even if it means they start from League 2 and have to work their way through the divisions. I doubt that will ever be allowed though.
