What are some punches that you feel truly would've knocked out ANYONE?

carl thompson vs sabastian rothmann

carl is getting beat up badly he is against the ropes taking shots..he then moves away to his right almost as if to m,ake the cameras catch one of the greatest koes of all time. he extends his left hand which rothmann takes then THWACK right hand makes rothmann nose dive.

 

noway that wasnt that hard of a shot roy was a bit past his prime an his chine wasnt what it was

 

Harris-Jefferson is nice. Yea I saw that on the other thread and saw it on HBO that night. The epitome of what BAD was supposed to be...

Others I'd add are:

Tyson's straight right on Golota.
Sam Peter's left hook on Williams.
Brewster's left hook on Golota.
Morrison's left hook on Ruddock.
Marciano's straight right on Louis.
Foreman's bombardment on Fraizer.

 

That shot would have KO'd any light-heavyweight in history, and most heavyweights.

 

I think that was Jeremy Williams too. He's been the recipient of a lot of shots that were very hard and he just didn't see.

 

Mike Tyson's barrage on Pinklon Thomas in the sixth, nobody can take such a pummeling and absorb.

 

I agree with what you said except the last bit. Chuvalo didn't have the best defence, and Foreman was teeing off. I think that Chuvalo would have been KO'd by the 5th or 6th round. As the saying goes, even a rock will crack eventually. With George Foreman landing flush over, and over, and over again... the rock will crack.

Hey here's one to think about...Jones/Hill. Keep in mind, this was a single body shot, so an opponents chin wouldn't have anything to do with it. I think this could be your best bet for a punch that no one would get up from. :good

 

julian jackson on herol graham. ****ing insane shot. jackson was getting schooled then banged graham out. herol, one of the greatest never to hold a world title.

I don't think any particular punch could knock out anyone. Hagler took some wicked shots from Hearns and never wobbled. I believe McCall could have taken any punch in heavyweight history.
