If you really want to see a one in 1 million talent go check out Angel Espinoza. In my opinion he was the most gifted amateurs of the 90s and late 80s. I am sure he would have a medaled twice if Cuba didn’t boycott the Olympic games of 84 and 88. Maske who won gold in 1988 lost every time he faced him and even admitted that the guy operated on another level. He died not long ago, i am 100% certain that if history would have turned out slightly different, he would have been a close rival to RJJ. His punching power was absolut INSANE I know no other amateur that has so many KOs in regular contest if you look up his fights on YT, he had brilliant eastern european, style footwork with an upright stance but also incorporated unorthodox defense tactics, such as blocking with his elbows while remaining in a high stance, combined with the strongest rear hand I have ever seen in an amateur mw/lwh.
