    York Hall, Bethnal Green.

    The home of British boxing!

Every seat is virtually a ringside view.

I've always thought that about the York Hall. I quite like the NIA, handy being local-ish to me. TrentFm and Echo Arena are alright, fairly modern, comfy and not large enough that there are crap views.

MEN is **** I always think. It's only benefit is it's an easy place to get to, but it's an ugly, concretey building, with uncomfy seats and no legroom. At least that's what I found.

O2 is about the same size, but newer, comfier and with more legroom it's like a more modern MEN.

Lets be clear Trent FM is poor with no ammenities and a loo which is abused with flowing urine, I am freom MCR but agree M.E.N is good only for big fights. Echo arena is comfortable with good views. In all honesty used to love the London Arena not for the perfect view but the ghosts of great fights. I agree with those who say York Hall etc as small halls provide views, atmosphere and a sense of occasion.
PS Worst arena is the Metro in Newcastle only place a £100 ticket is worse than PPV

I really liked the O2 when I was there and I always enjoy being at the Beach Balloom in Aberdeen. Meadowbank was good for the one fight that it was full but other than night it seemed poor.
The Lagoon Leisure Centre in Paisley will always be special to me and I think if there ever was a sell out fight in there it would be excellent

Was there for Rogan Sexton 2, sensational crowd, the venue and night after were fantastic top place to go. Love the York hall, always get a top quality atmosphere in there was sad to hear there was trouble not long ago coz the many times ive been there the crowds been a decent lot and very educated in the game. O2s ok but u gotta shell out 4 decent seats as up in the heavens is pointless

Yeah we went to the Rogan v Sexton 2nd fight... I went to Rogan v Skelton at the BIA and it was a great fight and loved Rogie that night...:good

We decided we would come to Belfast to watch him...I was disapointed that he left Breen. It was a great craic, we kept our original seats and they upgraded us, we had a great spec with plenty of ale too...:good

Lots of people around us could not believe that we were English and had travelled over to Belfast to support Rogie...:happy

I would defo go back again but would love to watch some boxing in the Ulster Hall... The atmosphere sounds great...:thumbsup
