I'm gonna have to say toney versus Jameel mccline. This would have been a showcase fight for toney. He was up for this one, that little pudgy ped cycling slick decent punching hw that he is . Why a showcase? Let's see, Jameel was about 6'8" 270 lbs, fought small, had a draw versus Byrd (little man) had no faith in his punching like in wlad fight. He also started late and was a gentle giant.

Don't get me wrong, Byrd versus mccline was a great fight, in fact Jameel scored an early round KD. It was a fun fight. But anyway imagine toney like the one versus Rydell Booker or Evander Holyfield, now what happened is James tore his Achilles tendon in training for big time. He was so friggin depressed that he cried on the floor with his injury.

Can you imagine all the casuals watching this fight "wow, look how good that little guy is, he could probably beat Mike Tyson, if that big guy lands it's over! Wow heck of a fight, imagine what he would do to Klitschko". What are other showcase fights you guys know what happened for the fight to fall apart? (And why?) Let's see...

Mickey Walker vs Primo Carnera was on the cards, if they had fallen just a little differently!

Jorge Arce getting KTFO against an aging Michael Carbajal in Manitas de Piedra's last fight.
