You can't be overly aggresive with Floyd or it will cost you ......so i went with Boxer Puncher ala ODLH

Shane doesnt have much of a jab so I dont know how he would be able to sustain a jab-led attack over 12 bearing in mind that Floyd will counter it (Oscar has a much better jab and he couldnt sustain a jab attack and lost CLEARLY)

If you try to walk Floyd down he'll make you pay, he is too difficult tp pin down. His outstanding footwork means you'll rarely get close enough to land anything without taking a few flush shots first (besides isnt that what Baldomir and Hatton (to a lesser extent) tried to do)

I've always thought thats Floyd's biggest weakness is his low work rate. If you throw a significant amount more than your opponent you always have a good chance (The only reason people thought the DLH match was close is coz Oscar threw more than Floyd and the crowd roared everytime he got near him.) I would also add that if he fights in flurries he may be able to steal a few rounds

The main weapon Mosley needs to employ is his jab. But whilst Mosley has a good jab i dont think it is good enough to get to Floyd and keep him under wraps.

Mmmm....the Judah ball punch tactic at the beginning of round 1. Followed by the Froch on Dirrell body slam tactic and the Sam Peter rabbit punch in round two. Roger storms the ring, there's a riot, Mayweather gets disqualified this time and Mosley wins having swam without getting wet.

It doesn't matter he's gonna lose...I feel the only way to beat a healthy floyd is to outbox him so i voted the boxer puncher style...

Castillo 1 tactics can't work cuz floyd wasn't 100% (fight could have gone either way)....when he was 100% he taxed castillos ass!!

IDK why people even use the constant pressure argument it is such a cliche when talking about mayweather..

The closest to a legitimate loss i ever seen floyd in (when he is 100%) was zab judah....Zab was gettin in that ass for the first few rounds...just simply outboxing him..he countered with speed and was beating floyd to the punch every time initially...If he could have sustained that the whole fight he might have won!

TBH, I'd go with swarming and outworking Floyd. Mosley can never outbox Floyd, as he himself has been outboxed by boxers that while bigger, weren't as solid technically as Floyd.

What he can do is start strong. (which I think he will) If he can keep that momentum for enough rounds, he might actually have a chance at a SD. I don't think it's all that hard to outwork Floyd, as long as you aren't "figured out" (which happens after a few rounds). After, with all the work, Floyd still lands more punches.

The big factor here will be how Floyd takes Mosley's punches and vice versa. One might look at Cotto and say, if Cotto can do it, Floyd can do it. BUT, firstly, that was Cotto's best ever performance, secondly, Cotto is a lot more active and significantly more powerful than Floyd. I do feel Cotto's power got a lot more respect from Mosley, he even commented that Cotto hit him harder than Margarito, which is saying something.

Mayweather should win, but I can't help but feel Mosley will pull off an upset and I would defo be not surprised of such an outcome. People can brag all they like about Floyd's skills, but Mosley hits with solid bricks. And you never no how Floyd's D will stand up to such a puncher.

I don't know if you saw the second Castillo fight. Floyd won in what was very unimpressive performance. Not a dominant performance and he didn't tax his ass at all.

I'd say Mosley needs to do his thing, find his range behind his jab, fight his usual style which is a mixture of leading in with combinations and then moving out or clinching, or trying to counterpunch and smother when his opponent leads on him. He needs to take the pop off his punches and focus on landing them as clean as possible. Maybe punctuating his combos with a strong shot but not more than that.

Land the Jab, scoring blows are prefered but if you hit the shoulder that is ok too. Make Mayweather come to you.
The problem is that Mosley dose not have the best jab in the world and is at his best when he is on the atack. So my aproach for Mosley would be
    1. Do as above yes it is not how he fights best but it is the best way to beat Mayweather.
    2. Do what Mosley dose best use his speed and experance to overwhelm Mayweather.

Smother him and hit him in the inside of clinches Hopkins-style without coming in with his head or holding & hitting. Then remain cold while in 110 degree farenheit weather.

If he backs him to the ropes whack his arms, body and shoulders when he covers up on the ropes, pissed me off watching De La Hoya trying to land head shots. Feint like **** and be unpredictable.
