Eubank wanted nothing to do with a peak Roy Jones, and as admitted as much on numerous ocassions.

Benn was with King, and Roy was with The Levin Brothers. The fight was hard to make.

Roy didn't want to go to Germany to fight Dariusz, and Dariusz wouldn't go to the U.S. to fight Roy.

Floyd ducking Pacquiao is probably the biggest duck in boxing history.

Anyone who cites manny turning down 40m is a ****** and a fully fledged *****, at the time of the offer floyd and Manny were equal in terms of drawing and star power, was floyd 3 times the draw Pacquiao was, no, was floyd p4p number 1 no, should have been 50/50 and Floyd is the only one of the two to never offer that split, Clearly Floyd ducked based on that alone

I am and have been a fan of Pac, but it was he was wrong and should have taken the extra testing back then. I think (hope) his agreeing to it now is his way of saying that

Joe Calzaghe ducking Sven Ottke, for 7 years & 21 title defenses of his WBO, while Sven Ottke holding the then more legitimate IBF for 2 1 title defenses.

A duck will never dare to walk into the Lion Den :smoke

Ohh yes, Sven Ottke ducking Joe Calzaghe. That's an obvious duck and a huge one really.

Could I ask Manny Pacquiou fans (who are right btw) to not discuss the issue of Floyd Mayweather VS Manny Pacquiou any more on this thread, many other threads exist to discuss that specific matchup.

at the time the 40m offer (over a year ago) YES floyd WAS p4p #1 and a way bigger draw. that 40m could had got mannys attention and he should had negotiated a little instead of saying 50/50 cause he wasnt anywhere near 50/50 at that point.

you guys mix up the negotiations timeline SO phukin bad.

FYI: ost WAS there BEFORE negotiations started an team paq had NO problem with it until they found it was random testing.

and get a clue, the 50/50 was 2009 for a fight in 2010 with a 14 day cutoff. DURING Mediations floyd made it crystal clear that was a ONE time offer, paq will never get 50/50 or a cutoff again, arum then walked and signed clottey.

i cant believe how bad some of you mix up the time lines to put blame all on floyd, it makes you look like a little boy trying to change history. maybe some of you really dont know anything really. it seem a lot of you go off what floyd haters post all over the internet, changing history.

If anyone really wants to know exactly what the deal was let me know..

There's no question when this fight was first talked about Mayweather wanted none of it. After that it just became one boringly long saga of bs.

Of course, it will generate more than $200 M. Which fight do you think can possibly sell more than 3M ppvs ?

    thats funny,
all the facts and boths camps actions contradict you opinion terribly.
all paq had to do was agree to something thats common in big fights now..

turning down a drug test is sketchy which is why floyd never let go of it .and STOP all the nonsense, paq DID NOT agree to anything until after they had other fights signed. you guys need to understand the facts surrounding this bs.

floyd loves all this hate from you clowns he makes him bigger and bigger. the better you are the more hate n more hate the bigger you get
