Your effort is appreciated i would be interested in hearing a little backround with all of the Kid Azteca ones you listed and who are you saying ducked who with Toney vs Gman, Benn? Some of them don't seem very sound though for example Arguello lost to Fernandez in 78 which messed up the possible Duran fight and he had moved up by 1980 while Cervantes wasn't in the same division so hard to call it a duck.

Lausse vs Fullmer II and Dempsey vs Greb should be added. At 135, 140 and 154 De La Hoys never fought Nazarov, Tszyu or Karmazin. There was talk of Karmazin but DLH backed off and went after Mayorga after seeing Roman destroy Ouma.

it was marquez who called out floyd...the champ. floyd was not obligated to drop down to face a challenger. that's ridiculous. he came in at 146. 1 pound under the limit.

what about the count down clock? arum stopped being floyd's promoter years ago. floyd paid $800k to get out of the contract. arum was pacquiao's promoter...not floyd's. the clock was bull****.

floyd's demand for testing came as a result of manny's initial demand of $10 mil per pound for every pound over the limit of 147. floyd agreed to the ridiculous demand and countered with OSDT.

what do u make of freddie roach's recent claims that he had no idea what was in the shakes alex ariza was giving him?

why hasn't pac scored an impressive ko...or better yet...why has he looked less than stellar, less ripped...than he did before the whole issue of OSDT came up?

pac only agreed to testing after they left the table. floyd went on to beat shane mosley...who roach and pac had refused to fight at 147 prior...and floyd changed his demands as a result of that win. when u have leverage like that...it's easy to do.

I know it's the internet, but that's taken directly from wikipedia. Show me where Mayweather was unfair. He offered 50/50 and was willing to negotiate on the testing demands. Pac refused. Roach refused. Arum walked away. Because of a blood test. A BLOOD TEST. Two weeks before the fight. Comical. If I was that negotiable and and the other fighter and his trainer and his promoter called the fight off I'd be a ***** afterwards too.

Fact is if Pacquiao wanted Mayweather to take a simple blood test, something that everyone on the PLANET has probably done, you'd be RIPPING into Mayweather calling him a cheating fraud, saying none of his wins should count, blah blah blah. loudon My friend, you are on the wrong side of history. If it was proven that there was no need for additional testing in Boxing you may have an small point but that is not the case. By manny eventually agreeing to and demanding more testing from others he quite simple undermined his own case . . . he was WRONG. other greats in the past have given in to demands far more intrusive, what makes Manny better than them is the real question. He is the one who is constantly saying he is doing it for the people . . . for the fans. He could have proven that by giving a couple drops of blood.

 

Who accused who first ? Who had to settle out of out of court because of those accusations ? And yes 10 million per pound was just as ridiculous.

I cannot believe that people to this day are still arguing why. Why did Floyd want the extra testing? Why does not matter . . . it doesn't! The real question is; "was this demand outlandish?" The answer to this question is no . . . other greats have agreed to a lot more restrictive demands. Manny himself have made the same demand of Rios (who never tested positive before that time) and proven that this demand is not out of line.
