And what great fighters in the 90's did he fight besides Holyfield and Lewis(who also fought a washed up Tyson and Mike Dominated him in the first, the only round he actually fought)?

 

Buster Douglas was terribly out of shpe against Holyfield in that fight, even you know that. And Tyson would have smashed Douglas had he came ready to fight that day but he didn't. Douglas had one lucky night but compared to all the guys Mike Beat, most of them were better than Douglas. As for Holyfield and Lewis, Lennox was getting outboxed by Frank Bruno(who wasn't even in the top 5 for 80's heavyweights) and had difficult time with a shot Tucker and if you take away the knockdowns, it would of been a close fight so I'd say Tucker fairs pretty well with Lewis, a prime one that is.(who was faster, more athletic and a much better boxer) Lewis loss to Tyrell biggs in the ameuters, who was one of Tyson opponents in his championship run and Lewis also never beat anyone great, when he was champion. Lewis loss to Ray Mercer(and they robbed mercer that day), who Tyson would of smoked and Lewis was getting outboxed by Vitiali Klitschko(and would of loss that fight too if the doctor didn't stop the fight), and a prime Tyson would walked right thru slow ass Vitaili.

Holyfiled fought an older holmes that mike fought and mike went right thru a younger and better holmes that Holyfield fought(and Evander struggled with him). Regardless of what you say, Holmes was very well prepared for Tyson when he fought him and you can use all the excuses in the world but holmes fought a very good fight against Tyson and Tyson made him change his gameplan when none of his tatcis worked and he fought the right fight against Tyson, which also proves my point that Tyson was a different fighter back in the 80's, cause that same Holmes would of beat a 90's Tyson.(and also proves that yourger holmes would of been a tad more competitive with his athletic qualities but wouldn't of beatin him and the same damage would of been done had Tyson caught him with the same punch) And I would pick Spinks to beat Evander if they fought, I think Spinks would of outboxed him with his boxing ability and awkward style.

 

No, your wrong. He beat Tyson by circling him, counter punching him, and Tieing him up. The reason why he could do that is because Tyson was nothing but a head hunter by that time, didn't move his head as much, go to the body as consistently(which he had hurt Holyfield with a bodyshot in the 5 round of the first fight but he wasn't doing doing that with the ferocity and consistency that he used to do it with) and throw combinations anymore. All of those things is why Holyfield was able to execute that gameplan so effectively and Holmes would of done the same thing to Tyson because he was doing lots of the samethings to Tyson when they fought but the difference was, Tyson wasn't a one dimensional fighter in the 80's, as he was in the 90's.

 

Nope, sorry, I just call it, how I see it. Lewis fought a washed up shot Tyson and Holyfield fought a over the hill Tyson. I'll say this much though, Holyfield fought a much better Tyson than Lewis did and would fare well with an 88 Tyson better than Lennox would.
