I would say better than Clotteys. I thought Cotto would have a great chance at pulling it but he had a terrible team. I cant tell what condition Margo is in, but im sure hell put up one hell of a fight. I give him a 45% chance.

    let's see

if somehow the slow, plodding, cracked chin arm-puncher manages to make it through 12 rounds, then it goes to whether arum paid the judges off or local bookies did

:huh margarito has a very good chin. He could take a punch, look at how many times mosley had to land before margarito went down. Pac is not as big puncher as mosley so i won't be surprise if margarito is still standing after 12 rounds. Cotto did survive all the way to the 12t round before the ref finally got smart and stop the fight. So it would not be a surprise to see margarito still standing at the end of 12th.

the problem with using your granite chin for defense is that once it is cracked, it is cracked

sure he may make it through 12, but don't be surprised if there is a mid/late TKO with tony just standing in a corner getting pummeled

edit: funny how you failed to mention the slow, plodding, arm-punching aspect though

Really? Really? This is what we're doing now? This is what's hot on the streets? Are fight fans or sleep walking zombies? Are people really drinking this arum kool aid? It must be grape cause wenlovebthe taste. I don't know if any caught the news flash but....Marge got caught cheating. The advantage that he manufactured which made his ordinary skills extra ordinary is gone! And he's not fighting 37 year old mosely, he's fighting super juiced up pacman! In Texas! Where they don't drug test! This is the state where private citizens can own anti aircraft guns and tanks! No rules!
    Cotto
    clottey
    Marge
all arum fighters! Do you think bob will trade pacman for the disgraced and discredited margacheato! This is insane! I can't believe theis is real! I can't believe this is the best my beloved sport can offer me! Hahahaha
pacman destroys the c+ fighter that Marge under 6 rounds. You can bet your genetalia on that.

Im giving Margo a 40% chance of pulling of the upset. Better shot than most people think. Pac will probably be to fast for him and his punches come from so many angles which might overwhelm Margarito, but I also wont be surprised if Margos Size, resilliency and persistance wins this for him.

I would like his chances much better if he wasn't handicapped by the catchweight.

i definitly wont be suprised. though he had the infamous wraps he has only lost to shane & pw over the last 5plus yrs no shame plus he is 5 10' an has outstanding work rate that could ware pac out . those who believ this will be some walk in the park have another thing coming.Pac is a freak, specimen an outstanding fighter no doubt but the more he goes up in weight more resitance he is going to face which was apparent in clear dec of clottey but margarito punches back

Are you kidding me? This should a damn good fight. Chances of Margarito winning? Hmmm I'm sure Pacquiao would KO Mayweather, whom I barely even consider to be a welterweight, but Margarito will outweigh Pacquiao, on fight night, by even more than Cotto did.. which was a lot. Pacquiao 60% Margarito 40%.
