Margarito is shot , apart from a very very suspect win over Cotto and wins over a fragile Cintron , again suspect the man has no chance . Manny beats a world star in ODLH and Margarito is very poor, six rounds of wide wild swinging from Margarito and he will be countered all night, a mismatch

Yes he has a chance, but the chance is very slim, like 10%.

I don't think he will upset, but it is possible. The speed of Pacman coupled with what I think is Margarito's lack of confidence after Mosley and the handwrap thing still being on his mind means he will lose a decision. The handwrap thing will always be associated with him. It is up to him to focus and get back to how he fought before when he stopped Cotto and Cintron, if he can do that and knockout Pacman, I think the handwrap incident will be forgotten a little. But in reality Pacman is too fast and Margarito has not been dominant since before his worst loss to Mosley.

Of course he can cause an upset. If the margo that beat cotto shows up, I fancy Margo to beat him actually. Yes he is a punching bad, but does manny hot harder than SSM, I'm not sure he does. I hope PAC wins to keep the dream fight alive, but I might have a tenner on Margo as there is a bit of value there.

I think this is a very tough fight for Pac. Margarito is huge, and just keeps coming and coming. I consider Pac a big favorite, but, would not be shocked if Margs pulled out the win.

Who cares. Embarrassing spectacle for Pac and for boxing. It is a bit like if some tv station hired O.J. Simpson to do a marriage counseling program. Extremely poor judgment.

I dont think that Margo can beat Manny at that weight ! I think it would be a completely different fight if it was at "154" and hydration allow there after. This is going to be way out of his normal boxing weights. Even when he fought at 147 he still weigh more on fight night. But what the hell...its a fight and thats all that matters at this point.

Wait...you don't consider Mayweather a Welterweight? I'm sure Mosley would disagree with that...Mayweather looked the bigger and stronger man on fight night for me.

Also, if you don't consider Mayweather a Welterweight...what do you consider him? And what about Pacquiao?

I give Margarito a 20% chance of victory. Nobody knows how his "granite" chin will hold up after the mollywhoppin he received from Mosley.

Cotto easily out-boxed Marg for 6-7 rounds. Manny is faster, more explosive and SHOULDN'T tire. The two biggest questions for me is, can Manny hold up to the pressure Marg is going to put on him and how well can Pac fight going backwards?
