What are the chances margarito beat pacquiao?

The funny thing, the commentator's keep saying that in every "welterweight" Pac has faced. Cotto, they said that. Then Clottey. Margo should be slightly bigger than Clottey. But imo, not enuf to make a difference in the fight. If they fough at Lt. Mid, then size WOULD be a difference maker - hence, catchweight.

SSM may punch harder, but Pac punches faster and has faster footwork. I highly doubt that Margo will be able to run Pac down and pin him. And he's got TOO many defensive flaws. He compensates that with his durability.

SSM showed that durability will fail vs defense. He attacked Margo's body early on to drop his head lower and then started crushing it in massive combos. This boxing tape's a great blueprint for Roach to have Manny break him down. This should be a low risk/low reward fight for Pacquiao....

 

Pacquiao can sing way better than Axl:hey. Axl sounds like a horny cat which is very annoying!

You never had that many people trying to make tactical analysis and breakdowns of upcoming matches. At this point it's almost nobody whatsoever. Funny, you have a majority vote - (which should actually be very few people) claiming Margarito has a chance of beating Pacquiao. I'll try real hard and see if I can recognize a pattern. :roll:

 

Margarito still showed a great chin there. It's just that he was getting hit over and over and over again with hard, clean shots from Mosley. Mosley also hurt him to the body as well. People always talk about the shots Margarito took from Cotto and how it shows Margarito's chin declined in the Mosley fight, but Margarito didn't take the same type of punches against Cotto as he did versus Mosley.

Unlike Cotto, Mosley was largely planting his feet and getting leverage behind those vicious right hands. He was loading up and bombing on Margarito, whom I remember actually looked like he rolled into, rather than with, a couple of big Mosley right hands and barely flinched. But even a fighter with a terrific chin can only take so much when he's getting hit with those sort of punches.

But who knows, maybe all the punishment and wear-and-tear has caught up to him by now, and Pacquiao lays him out. I hope he does.

 

pac is fast throws in combination and hits hard and marg gets hit a lot and will be hit a ton, cleanly.

Pac has the advantage of movement, pac can hit him and be out of range for marg to counterattack. pacs feet will keep him from being cornered early which is key. marg starts off slow, pac starts fast = bad matchup for marg.

pac most likely tko's marg early. But marg can be dangerous he gets pacquaio cornered he is a non stop punching machine- could go badly for manny. Not likely though I give marg a small chance for an upset.

This is a lose lose for Margarito because even if he wins and HE will. All of you hardcore pac fans are going to say Pacman is too small and should have never fought Margarito. Margarito for life! A lot of people are going to feel stupid when that fight is over. Just like you all felt when Margarito destroyed Cotto. And don't try to say you always thought he would win because the majority of your were all saying Cotto was going to ko him. That loading the glove stuff is bull****!
