Just saw the 24/7, I think Cotto has a good chance at removing that 0 from Mayweather. Cotto was obviously was not at his best when he fought Pacquiao. His trainer was incompetent (I forgot his name) and his skills degraded during that time and it showed. Cotto hired Steward and he looked much better (his footwork improved and he looked much sharper). I don't know why Cotto dumped him, but I think he should have stayed with Stewart. I don't know too much about Cotto's current trainer, but what's the odds of Mayweather losing?
I've always thought Cotto was underrated boxer, he's won three straight since losing to Pacquiao. I just checked out 24/7 just because I'm interested in the fight.
joe santiago. the man who kept telling cotto to be smart and do it for his family was his technical advice. he really should of stayed with steward. in the foreman fight with steward he went back to his body work and worked that jab. pedro diaz seems like a no nonsense guy but i'm not sure if he's ready for the big leagues like this although i know he's been very sucessful with the cuban amateur system. i hope i'm wrong but i can't see cotto winning. i see a gatti-mayweather type fight.
The one time Floyd stepped up to LMW, he struggled against Oscar. Not saying Cotto will win, but I don't think people are giving him even a puncher's chance.
****ed up the ESB odds for floyd-cotto. pac-cotto odds 2.5 to 1 (ESB odds almost 1 to 1) floyd-cotto odds 8 to 1 (ESB odds almost 6 to 1)
