Even this version of Pacquiao would beat handily the 152 version the Mayweather fought. THE 2009 Pacquiao would have destroyed Canelo even at 155.

    none.

Canelo is far too big for him, even if he is drained at 152.

a prime Pac would be a toss up. but this version? no way. he gets knocked out.

What is Canelo gonna do better than Cotto? The guy needs you to stand in front of him, this would resemble Pac-ODLH.

Outside of JMM, Pac has beaten every common FMJ opponent easier. ODLH, Hatton, Cotto, Mosley.

wow, i'm actually shocked at the amount of posters picking Pac.

if this fight came off, i'd put big money down for Canelo.

why not 154 with the 10lbs rehydration clause?? canelo will be 164lbs fight night, pac maybe 152, it will only be 12 lbs difference , less than floyd-canelo...

Not to sound rude but you have to be sometype of stupid to think Pacquiao has even the slightest chance. Alvarez is an aggressive power boxer/counter puncher with underrated speed think about Marquez with a little less ring iq but a 20lb advantage and power to end it the first time. Clearly Pacquiao has him in stamina and foot speed but Alvarez has a better defense than Pacquiao which seems obvious to me but I guess not Alvarez kills him and if this fight comes off I'd bet anything on it

Re-hydration clause lol.. Canelo is too big for Pac, he hurts Pac and possibly KO's him. Canelo hits harder and is more accurate than Margarito who happened to hurt Pac, not to mention the shot Marquez landed. Prime pac would be a toss up at the weight, this Pac gets stopped, Canelo is too big.

Canelo is an absolute zombie at 152, its too hard on him. He cant recover in a day, Pac easy victory.

According to *******s Canelo will be drained at 152 so why fight Canelo there Pac won't get any credit. So fight him at 154 or no fight.

You're right; fighters never progress or regress in that amount of time. Ever.

    This.

I don't see how some people can support the fight when they just spent 6 months doing everything they could to discredit Alvarez in every way possible and especially to discredit what a win below 154 exactly would mean.

Is Canelo capable of making 152? He is enormous.
