What are the consequences of Floyd and Manny never fighting?

If they fight and there is a dinfitive winner than he will be deserving of serious consideration of being top 10 if not top 5 all time greats. If they fight and the result is close it is top 15 for the winner. If they never fight both are top 25.

 

Boxing will move on. I remember a lot of fights that never happenned.

Pac will be remembered much more fondly and be given a bit of a pass. However, Floyd will forever be labelled "never fought the best" forever. I think Floyd still might get hung with that even if he fights a fading Pac.

You do realize Floyd has only fought twice for the past 5 years. He's getting older by the minute and looks like he has a couple of trials coming up. He aint fighting no time soon son....

 

Both are seen as the most disgraced & fraudulent p4pers in boxing history & quite rightly will never rank with legends like Ali, Robinson, Armstrong, Pep & co.

Lets hope it doesnt come to that tho & they start behaving with a bit of honour & fkn fight each other (dont hold your breath)

Yes but Rocky never had a Muhammad Ali or a Joe Louis fighting in the same division in their prime with millions & millions of people worldwide begging for him to take part in the richest fight ever.... THATS the point.

Obviously boxing can move on from any fighter, it said goodbye to Robinson, Louis, Ali, Leonard etc etc etc so it can sure as **** say goodbye & move on from lesser fighters like mayweather & pacquiao.... what will hurt the sport enormously tho is if these 2 ****wits dont fight asap, the sport is not in great shape, you`d think the least 2 men who became millionaires thru boxing could do would give the sport & its fans a boost by (god forgive me for saying this) actually boxing each other & becoming immortal in the sport they claim to love.

You predicted floyd by UD when it looked like the fight could be made, now you are sure it wont be made you are acting the ****, sort yourself out & start speaking the truth if possible.

 

I dont think it will hurt Mannys legacy as much as Floyds. Manny beat legends at the lower weights and even if you criticize his recent fights, what he accomplished at the lower weights are really his finest moments. Manny had career defining fights, Mayweather hasnt had a great rivalry. A fight with Manny would be that fight for him and its a fight I think he would win.

Boxing will move on and eventually a new star/s will arise.

The fight never happening will leave a ? on both their legacy's as to who really was the best of that era. That ? however I feel will be weighted more on May's legacy than Pac's.

ESB will be fked if the fight doesn't happen. All these *******s and ***** arguments will continue til ... probably forever.

Effect on Pac and his career? I see none. The fact that he's pushing for that fight he won't get blamed for it not happening.

Effect on Mayflower? Disaster. He will be remembered as the biggest *** in boxing history for running away from the fight.
