What are the excuses for Margorito's loss to Mosley?

He got ****ed up, **** happens this is BOXING.
Styles make fight's....

Plain & simple he got beat by the better fighter that night.

1.The fact that he beat cotto who in turn beat mosley must have gave him too much confidence.
2.Was caught in the process of trying to load his gloves
3.Partied too much?(i dont know how much truth there is behind this but could be a factor)

Theres really nothing left to say.His facial expression just seconds before the first round tell the tale. BUT he went down on his shield, he could of easily had his corner throw in the towel. Thats why i give him credit. He knew he was gonna get ko'd and he took his L just like he took his W's

 

I don't think many think Margarito is going to win. They either dislike Pac, and HOPE Margarito beats the crap out of him. OR there like myself, and beleive Margo is a tough SOB (handwraps, losing to mosley, STILL), and this will be a pretty neat David-Goliath kind of fight.
Marg does look hungry, and in INCREDIBLE shape though so I don't count him out. IF he is at his best us fans are in a hell of a fight. Pac will show you how a world class fighter fights a guy much bigger than him, and Marg will show you the meaning of determination.

 

Shanes clinching was too much for marg.

 

Margarito's excuse was weight. Another excuse you can safely add is he didn't get the hand-wraps they planned for.

 

Don't think the party part makes sense here. He got a long vacation after the tough fight with Cotto which was reasonable and had many more plans coming up and scheduled if he beat Mosley. One of them was a rematch date with Cotto Arum already planned and announced. He just got serious attention after his very first meaningful win, if party took his mind off the sport then he's worse than already known for.

 

No excuses. Loss is loss. Besides, Margarito got beat up by other fighters before he fought Mosley. For Pacquiao v.s. Margarito, the former has fought bigger opponents for all of his life so this is just another fight with bigger opponent. Nothing is so special. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. Just remember this!

 

That's all it takes to beat Margo, hit and clinch, Hopkins style and he can't work.

Pac ain't strong enough to adopt this gameplan though, he will be moving.

Well, the fact that Mosley was allowed to clinch every 12 seconds might be a good excuse.

I thought he was weight drained as well, but I don't consider that a real excuse. Margarito apparently blew up in weight after the fight and tried to drain himself down too much for the Mosley fight and came down to 145 so that was on him. No excuses there.

 

Everybody's got problems man, Margarito had his before the fight and to be fair Mosley had his too with the divorce and hardly nothing is more draining than that. Some people perform better under pressure, others don't. Still, the people, the fans don't want to hear about it. You lost, you have to give credit to the other fighter. You feel you had an off night, have a rematch if you want it so much.
