What is Mayweather asking in regaurds to PED testing.
Hear is what I understand. Random testing which includes urrin and blood. The total amount of blood is a tabelspoon, which is quickly replunished and they will nt take any samples within 3 days of the fight. This is what I have gathered.

pacman and roach said they want it on the weigh in, thats what the problem is. pacman is willing to 3 blood tests, jan the 12th, feb the 13th and 1 hour after the fight

Mayweather wants USADA testing, which means random tests (reportedly up to 7 blood tests, 12 urine tests) during the 30 day lead-up to the fight.

Manny doesn't want to be tested too close to the fight as he feels it weakens him, thus they're trying to work on some compromise where a cutoff date can be implemented.

The latest news is that the Nevada Commission has offered to do the testing (random testing) while providing more flexibility for the fighters.

    the facts:

many athletes believe that having sex during training weakens them. despite studies showing otherwise, they still abstain from it. professional athletes have their little superstitions and rituals. if they believe letting blood before a fight weakens them, even if their fears are baseless, it will mess up their heads. yes, they could replenish the blood taken for the test, but what about the mental effects?

anyway, pac is okay with the tests being done by the NSAC, random testing is ok, just not that close to fight night.

GBP is a bunch of hypocrites for balking when it was happening to mosley and demanding it from pac.

mayweather sr is a convicted felon for dealing drugs.

ESB is getting wound up with all these hype. you should just sit back and wait, the fight is too big for it to not happen.

It's sad to know that some people here are accusing PAC of hiding something. The truth is they don't know the facts.

PAC already agreed to blood and urine tests, but not so close to the fight night.

The way I see it, Floyd doesn't want this fight and is just looking for an excuse.

Olympic-style tests is not even mandatory in boxing. What the Mayweathers want is just crossing the line.

totally agree. idk why ppl insist on olympic style testing that doesnt work well in boxing because weight matters and taking blood some many times will mess with ur weight. pac agreed to take blood after the fight and before camp which will prove if he was clean or not.

I should have known better than to ask for real information. G-d forbid that I might want to better make an informed opinion.

As far I know Pac's team agreed to random tests - blood and urine - when not done by USADA, and not to close to the fight.
Team Mayweather insist on USADA and won't Floyd get blood taken from any other, such as the "Nevada Comission".
    Why is that?

    Some more facts:

Around 10% of the population have a phobic reaction to needles.

    http://www.healthcentral.com/anxiety/disorder-types-273889-5.html

It's been a long time since I studied statistics so my calculations here may be wrong. Let me know if it is: the chances of someone in the top ten P4P having this phobia works out to be around 2 in 3.

If anyone here knows anything about scientific methodology and statistics then they will know that it is more complex then this. For example, 10% of the general population does not necessarily equate to 10% of top boxers having this phobia.

But it certainly makes Pac's claims credible.

Hell, I've seen people passed out from getting flu inoculations. I wonder if they felt like fighting in a world championship title fight after they regained consciousness?

People are also forgetting a very important point. Pac has agreed to take urine tests at ANY TIME. How does this show he has "something to hide"? There are no known PEDs not known to be detectable in blood but not urine. Pacquiao must have a team of super chemists working for him to have such a super drug.

I'm no alias. I just joined a while ago... my life isn't the internet or ESB forums. Just pisses me off seeing all these idiots with bad logic thinking they are smart.
