What are the five greatest boxing magazines of all time?

    By far the best. And you got fast and didn't wait like 3 month's for results w/ the magazines. But flash and boxing update were newsletters and not magazines. And didn't Gordon print them from a setup he had in the bathroom of his apartment?

    Not a boxing magazine, per se. Sports Illustrated.

    That sounds familiar now that you mentioned it. I don't know for sure if there's any truth to it. I don't know much about Gordon, or if he ever had any role in the sport other than creating this newsletter.

    Haven't noticed it mentioned yet, but I believe there was a magazine called Boxing Beat that was around in the 80s.

    I liked World/International/Big Book/ KO growing up because of the great covers, graphics and writing. The Ring and Boxing Illustrated looked ugly and dull. Then in the 80’s The Ring dressed it up a bit w better covers. I must have bought copy of all of them from 78 through 86.
