Yeah, I guess you could sub it with Jones/Ruiz...but yeah, Vitali was on his way to getting stopped anyways.

Pacquiao over Barerra followed very closely by Hopkins-Trinidad.

Before these two fights both Trinidad and Barerra were p4p elite's. After these fights they were never the same. The winners Pacquiao and Hopkins fightswere little known fighters, outside of hardcore fans, before the fights but after their wins they went on to be the best, most accomplished fighters of this generation.

I picked Barerra to outbox and KO the inexperienced and agressive Pacquaio. I was stunned at how this fight became such a one-side beating. It was close to Duran-Moore. Barerra got taken apart, and he was my p4p number one.

I did not see the Trinidad-Hopkins fight in 2001. But went I watched it I could not believe that Trinidad was outclassed by the way he was by Hopkins. It was the greatest boxing performance against an all-time great fighter in his prime that I have seen in my era.

I think Rigo beating Doniare deserves mention. I know they're little guys and don't get the recognition but when you consider what Donaire had been doing to champions over the last few years starting with how he knocked Darchinyan silly...you really have to take your hat off to Rigo for dominating Donaire. He was a heavy underdog and I think that win is hugely significant in terms of relevance in the sport.

    Calzaghe vs Hopkins/Kessler/Lacy
    Lewis vs V Klitschko/Holyfield
    Benn vs Mcclellan

Benn vs Eubank (Benn should have got the win in the rematch)
Tszyu vs Judah (big win at the time. Judah was also the favorite)
Murray vs Martinez ( he clearly beat him but was ripped off)
Bowe vs Holyfield (the first fight)
    Holyfield vs Tyson

Its probably still Holyfield over Tyson.

Deep down Mike Tyson still had that invincible aura, and world wide notoriety. Considering Holyfield's form coming into the fight, and suspect performances, the magnitude of the fight..? It is still probably the nest individual win of the past 20 years.

You know the way sometimes you hear Golden Boy say..? This is the biggest fight of all time, the super bowl of boxing! When referencing to Mayeather vs De La Hoya, De La Hoya vs Hopkins..? i am not sure what the **** they are on about.

The biggest fights of the past 20 years where...

Holyfield vs Tyson I & II
Lewis vs Holyfield I & II
    Lewis vs Tyson

    That's it.

  10. It's Sanders over Wlad.

Sanders beat up a Prime Wlad who went on to dominate a Division.

    Rahman over Lewis as well.

BUT Sanders vs Wlad was the ONLY fight in which the ATG lost every second of every minute of every round up until the KTFO.

At least Pac won some rounds .. Lewis won some rounds... Moorer won most of the rounds.. etc

Sanders-Wlad is the ONLY FIGHT in which Wlad didn't even win more than 5 seconds .

Actually, I think Rigo over Marroquin is better win than Rigo over Donaire. While the win over Marroquin is being grossly underrated, the win over Donaire is being just as grossly overrated.

Donaire should have not won the Fighter of the Year award in 2012, but as always, the experts refuse to admit they are wrong.

I wonder what the excuse will be when Santa Cruz beats Rigo.

  13. Sanders Wlad is even more dominant than Rigo vs Donaire.

At least Donaire didn't get knocked down 4 times and ktfo.

Sanders did in 2 rounds what Rigo took 12 to NOT DO.

Sander's 2 round domination of Wlad was never seen outside of Frazier-Foreman and that's different because Foreman is an ATG himself,

No ATG has ever been dominated as badly as Wladimir..by a NON ATG
