A great win which has likely gone under the radar is Karl Taylor beating Dingaan Thobela back in the early 1990's.

Thobela was a former Lightweight World Champ and had been operating at that level for a few years. Taylor was a journeyman much like he still is, though back then he got the odd win here or there.
Thobela went on to win a world title up at Super-Middle.

I can't remember details of the fight but for Taylor to overcome that gulf in class must be worthy of a mention. :bbb

    Just thought of another one.

Warrington Light-Heavy Blaine Logsdon wiping out former IBF Champ Slobodan Kacar in two rounds over in Italy back in the 80's.

Kacar had been fighting Bobby Czyz and Eddie Mustafa Muhammad in his previous fights but never fought again after Logsdon. :bbb

Jock McAvoy KO 1 reigning Middleweight Champ Babe Risko at Madison Square Garden back in the 1930s :bbb

Jim Driscoll beating Featherweight Champ Abe Attell in the States. Not sure if it was a newspaper decision or a proper decision, or is a newspaper decision a proper decision? :?

I'm sure Ted 'Kid' Lewis must have had some good wins too but I can't be arsed to look at Boxrec. :bbb
