Martinez is more likely to happen than Pacquiao imo

Pac is not a better fighter than Martinez. Sergio has a unique style along the lines of Roy Jones. He's not an orthodox fighter by any means and that is what makes him so good. Martinez is too big and strong for both Floyd and Pac IMO. Floyd being the boxer he is though, would have the best chance against Sergio. Pac is getting KTFO by Sergio.

Absolutely zero. I don't even think it matters that Serge can't sell tickets (Ortiz couldn't either). It's more that he's way too big & fast, no way would Mayweather risk his 0 to Serge at this point.

He mad 1.2 mil in his last fight. Martinez would get the same purse as Ortiz and might bring more money to the table.

Mayweather is now a 147'er fighting at 147.

Martinez is a natural 150'er now fighting at ridiculous 160 - only because he couldn't get any fights at 147 or 154.

If Floyd does not fight Martinez and stays undefeated... there is one day that was key to all that.... the day they lured little sergio up to fight Pavlik. He looked like a dwarf next to Pavlik, but he won and now Floyd has his biggest threat tugged away in another division.

Martinez clearly beat Cintron by decison, should have been ko win anyway. At 154 Sergio likely beats both Floyd and Pacqauio and is the harder fight.

Mayweather will not fight Martinez or Pacquiao. Period. He'll most likely fight Khan next. Khan is moving up from 140 soon and is with Golden Boy. Has chin issues and its the road of least resistance rather than fighting the real threats in Pacquiao and Martinez.

It doesn't matter who Floyd fights, seriously I mean its not like he will get credit from people who dislike him, if he fights Sergio and wins they will say Martinez was 36yo and past his best then there will be another challenge they will say he should fight Andre Ward or Bute next to prove he's the greatest...

If he happens to lose to Sergio you haters will say he was exposed, a hype job and that you knew he was never ****, its a no win situation for his legacy so he should want as much money as he can get out of a fight...

Sergio let Kermit win rounds in their fight and Cintron was trash then and is still garbage, Sergio lost a close controversial decision to Paul Williams who has absolutely zero defense and slap punches with little power, Sergio let a lethargic, struggling drunk in Pavlik back into his fight with him...

So he ko's a defenseless Paul and now he's the best thing smoking I don't buy it and favor Floyd over him any day, but I could care less if the fight happens all Martinez wants is a pay day, if he truly wants a challenge let him move his ass up and fight B-Hop or Ward, even Bute or Froch instead of looking tor a size advantage over a man who comes in on fight night weighing 150lbs, so if Floyd were to face Sergio at 154, Sergio would certainly have at least a 20lb weight advantage...

**** Sergio let him go to super-middle or stfu...

Floyd fights all the good fighters these days..I beleive he would do it at 160...maybe a catch weight of 155 for the MW title..........then again Floyd doesn't really do the catchweight thing...

Yeah fight Khan. Mayweather claimed Ortiz was a bigger draw than Khan, which is disagree. So he fought Ortiz. Ortiz is a quiter and a moron. Ortiz is a one hit wonder with only one good win to his name against the highly overrated Andre Berto.

The odds of Mayweahter fighting Martinez are as good as the odds of Mayweather fighting Pac which are zero to none.

Prob zero chance, but I wonder if Floyd would be more willing to fight a 150 lb. S. Martinez rather than a 147 lb. Pacquaio ? Assuming Sergio could cut the weight, would be an interesting fight.
