The Dirrelltards will, but anyone who knows anything about boxing will know that Ward was just too strong for him to beat.

Dirrell's good but as the Cobra himself said; "He needs a pair of steely balls"
If he's scared of a punch, he'll have hell against Ward

    Depends on how he loses.

    Depends on how he loses.

Alot of fighters when they get knocked out, arent shot, they're gunshy, thinkning it could happen again.

Dirrell should be fine though. he was knocked out illegally, which could help with his psyche

It's not like he was hit with a horseshoe, he got punched in the face. He could easily get punched in the face as hard again. Don't really see the difference psychologically.

Unless he actually was faking of course, in which case he'll be fine.

Could also make him waryand think how he could be KO at any time including moments he should be safe. This might put him on edge ect. Personally i dont think it will tho and he will have a competitive fight.

Ward doesn't seem to hit all that hard. Nowehere near as Hard as Abraham, and probably not as hard as Froch.

But he does close off the ring and throw lots of good punches on the inside very quickly, which is likely to trouble Dirrell.

You dont see the difference psychologically to a fighter when he gets laid out? Given Abrahams power it might aswell be a horeshoe.

jermaine Taylor was visibly afraid to engage when Pavlik knocked him out. He fought simply to survive.

no doubt it will come up if ward gets a result but i fancy dirrell in this match up. if he can keep a bit of distance he has a great chance.

That's why I said that Dirrell would likely experience the effects, unless he was faking it :?

Im sure there will be many that would say that, but its not true. Froch ruined Dirrell before AA got to KO him

i've ranted about this before. Fighters aren't made of glass otherwise you would never even hear their name. They aren't made of anything different than back in the 50s or 60s.They aren't any less tough physically. If they're mentally weak or can't hold it together, they lose their edge, anything like that, and that is what ruins them. Not one loss.not a a dozen losses. Your confidence in your own abilities starts to go,and that's what ruins you but until you're physically incapable of fighting at your peak,it's your mentality that makes your "peak".
