What are Vitali Klitschko's top 5 wins???

The fact that one of his best wins is against a lazy slob who has accomplished nothing as a pro speaks volumes about Vitali's resume.

 

The only glaring faux pas (my smartphone tried auto-correcting that into "faucet paste" :rofl) is having Adamek #3. That's ridiculous; there is no case for the crappy HW version of Adamek being a top five name on Vitali's resume.

Otherwise nothing extraordinaril bad or that can't at least be argued.

 

yet people were making Solis out as Vitali's toughest challenge since the Lewis fight remember? I was also disappointed by Solis, because I actually thought he might pose a bigger threat than he did

 

what? no one is saying it's vitali's fault solis' knee gave out, but anyone with eyes can see that it was not a legitimate tko. in fact, the fact that people include that as one of his top five wins is a tribute to his dismal resume.

 

I actually rate the Gomez win higher than Solis, because he was a former CW champion with a pretty long run, but his resume is far worse than Wlad's, I don't dispute that, but bearing in mind that he had a 4 year layoff due to injury, who was he supposed to have faced when he came back? Thompson, Chagaev, Valuev, Ruiz? I agree that some of his title defenses, such as a washed up Briggs and limited as hell Sosnowski were pathetic, but every fighter who's ever held a belt has some "weaker" title defenses. also, the fact that the K bros are dominating a weak era is also not their fault, they can only fight who is in front of them and willing to fight them

 

IDK what people were thinking that but then again you had people who thought Guerrero would beat Floyd. Doesn't mean that was some great win for Floyd.

 

Would have been Lennox Lewis had he not got screwed over.

 

I also don't think that the Solis fight should be mentioned among the top ones. I'm sure that it would have been a great fight if Solis didn't injure himself and I believe it could have potentially be Vitali's best win. Despite what the most people here say about Solis, he is still more talented than anyone besides maybe the Klitschko brothers and even in the present shape he would probablybe able to defeat about 4-5 out of the top 10 fighters.

Adamek is also a great fighter and the warrior who doesn't deserve to be discredited. He was in a big size disadvantage against Vitali, it was simply too much for him. He conquered LHW and CW divisions and is a legitimate top 10 fighter at HW even now when he passed his prime.

 

So true. Solis is barely at Eurosport level.

 

He could have fought either of the four guys you mentioned and probably would have beaten them all in my opinion, without many issues, and although it is clear that they have no say over the caliber of era in which they choose to fight, resumes still speak for the careers of fighters.

 

People saying Adamek are just mad, he was a warrior at LHW and CW, but at heavy he's lost speed, power and the ability to take a good shot.

He deserves a ton of credit for the Arreola win, I backed Arreola to stop him under 6 rounds but he proved me and many others wrong.

I can't see how anyone could back him against Hide, Donald, Sanders, Peter, Chisora and Solis... Charr, Kingpin, Gomez ,Williams are all 50/50, Shannon Briggs would have a big punchers chance as well. he beats the rest of Vitali's resume I guess.

 

I disagree, even without having adamek #3, with his dominant win over sure shot first ballot HOF'er Vinny Maddalone as prime reason for his top spot, I still see any top five that you can muster from vitali's resume as pure faucet paste.

 

So because Solis didn't do as good as you wished or thought he would that is Vitali's problem? A punch landed he has a Glass Jaw and couldn't take the punch as he was going down he blew out his knee.

That is not controversial and is a legit win. Look at all the bums Solis continues to fight there is a reason for that.
