Simple question: Do you think DW can beat AJ? What are his chances? Frankly, I think Joshua will beat him up like he did everyone else before.
Alot more than the fodder he last fought, genuine threat, whyte has a huge amount to gain, do he will answer the chin test we have all being waiting for with AJ, on the other hand, aj will also do the same,, genuine 50/50
The heavyweight game is a different one. He has more of a chance than an underdog in a lower weight category. Joshua by KO though.
I think he has a good chance. I expect AJ to win but I wouldn't be surprised if Whyte beat him. Whyte is AJ's first real fight, rightly or wrongly Whyte has ambitions that go beyond AJ, he will come to fight, can punch and will throw punches with intent.
Yes, Joshua KOs him in 2-3 rounds. Whyte has so many holes in his defense. Small and slow Minto easily hit him with lefts and rights early in the fight. Whyte himself is slow and his footwork is far from good. His only chance is lucky punch which is highly unlikely. Joshua has better offensive skills, better jab, faster hands, better speed and overall is more complete boxer
Well Whyte knows he can hurt Joshua which is massive for him going in. Perhaps more importantly AJ knows Whyte can hurt him so it'll be interesting to see he he reacts. This said, I fully expect Joshua to get him out of there in 7 but stranger things have happened and Whyte goes in a live dog. Well, at least in comparison to the rabbits that have so far been placed in his headlights.
Slim and none. Not sure why this bout is getting hyped, reminds me of "Great White Hype" movie or whatever it was called with Damon Waynes, without the racial element. A glorified nobody who beat an immature champ (or prospect, in this case) as an amateur is being hyped into a threat he isn't. Would much rather see Joshua vs Dimitrenko, or Duhaupas, or Teper, or some fringe 20-30 guy.
Bob Dylan has no more chance than the Cornish Hen. The question is what AJ's team saw in training that made them decide to munch on domestic competition rather than stepping up ... and why he needs a 3-month camp to get ready for Domestic Dylan.
C'mon Whyte would prob stop Cornish in similar fashion to AJ. With all due respect to Cornish he had no business being in there contesting that belt. I don't think I could even pick him to be competitive with the likes of Towers or Big Larry O.
Good post, I agree :good What you point out about AJ knowing Whyte can hurt him is going to be very interesting, AJ has streamed out of his corner in full offensive mode in every fight, AJ could have a completely different mindset and it might have a negative effect.
