    lol i wish he was fighting demarco... but he is fighting the mighty hector velazquez he won 1 of his last 3 fights

    Valero wants Soto or DeMarco next to make a statement. Although, had JMM stuck around 135lbs they could have both fought for all the marbles at lightweight.

    As it stands Ring magazine has ranked Valero #1 at 135.

    Antonio De Marco hasn't accomplished anything notable up to this point to be a stepping stone for Valero for higher stature and recognition. DeMarco is not a big name yet. Infact he has only fought three 12 rounders so far at present.

    . . . and besides Valero ain't fighting the guy . . . he is fighting Hector Velasquez on Dec 19, in Caracas Venezuela. A guy who already lost to Kevin Kelley, Israel Vasquez, Robbie Penden, Orlando Soto, Rocky Juarez and Manny Pacquiao. In fact he is coming from a loss to Jocsan Hernandez last June 2009.
