Flint, are you trying to reel me in? Get Hamed out of that list immediately. And if we're talking acheivements rather than potential, I'd say Haye does not yet belong there neither. There's an argument given he's the man at cruiser. But lets give him another 3/4 years before bracketing him in with the best 3 British boxers of the last 15-20 years.

But to answer your question, no Khan will never reach the level of those fighters named (including Naz and Haye)

He was expected to reach that level though with the hype

That list was not some all time great Brits list by the way

It was just modern day fighters who have mixed it with the best of their division and been successful

For that reason both Hamed and Haye belong on the list

    Point taken then. Apologies.

My answer remains the same, no Khan wont reach that level.

Mitchell ain't much cop either, looked very ropey in his last fight in America.

Khan is a strange one, ever since I first saw him fight I thought there's something not right about him. A mechanical, flair boxer. And flair boxers should be fluid and lucid, Khan is stiff and fighting in style that doesn't suit him. He can't fight tall either, always crouching down.

If Khan beats Barrera (emphasis on IF) I honestly believe that he will beat Alex Arthur. Arthur hasn't looked anything special for a while and got out classed by Stephen Foster Jr and then Nicky Cook. OK, he might of had weight issues but there was something else missing, maybe hunger?

Khan needs to operate at 140 because 135 looks like being a tough division for a while yet. However he will never be anything more than an alphabet champion before someone lands a big one on one of the weakest chins I've seen for a while.

I think Khan will beat MAB, and then go on later this year to fight for a world title late 2009. Will he win? i dont know, can Khan improve under a world class trainer like F.Roach? yeah a lot. Khan's main problem i feel is not his chin but his mind set, he needs to become more ring smart and think about his next move. Ok if he does have a weak chin than he needs to improve his defence. Does anybody know if Mayweather jr has a glass chin? not really because he protects it the best, Khan needs to learn a bit from Floyd. As Khan gets a bit older, and moves up in weight maybe his chin will improve who knows. Apart from his chin the kid has the tools to go all the way. I think Khan's hand speed can trouble any fighter in the world, even P4P King Pacman.

I think Khan will eventually win a WBO title and have a decent career. Lower than expectations, but much better than most fighters get.

I think that there can be a strong case made for a Khan victory over Barrera, i've thought about it lots over the last couple of days and I pretty certain Khan will win on points or possibly by stoppage.... unless he walks onto one.
