Different weight classes have different styles.

105-118 You have the mosquito fighting where they look like kids and hardly ever lay people out. These are probably the most boring weight classes.

122-147 Is super exciting. These guys have the potential to carry power, but not the scariest types of power usually. They typically have the highest workrates and just offer complete nonstop action.

154-175 Probably my favorite weight classes to watch. Big enough to seriously hurt, little enough for pretty good workrates and great speed and deception.

Crusier and Heavy In modern times I have to say it's not all that fun to watch. Technique tends to be sloppy and workrates suffer. Modern heavies seem to prefer lumbering about the ring and potshot from the outside. Some of the classic heavies though were fun to watch.

    1. Heavy - the division of kings... others can be technically much better, but they still can't touch the man on top.
    2. Middle - usually loads of talent, and loads of historic fights with guys from many different countries. Many of biggest names in history were Middleweights.
    3. Welter - also rife of talent, and still "big" enough to be from all over the globe.
    4. Light Heavy - Top division, with loads of history. Big hitters and big names.

122-147 has always seemed to be where my favorite fights and fighters reside. The bigger weights can be good but guys are so big now it seems. What really sucks is that there's nowhere for a 210-225 pound 5'11"-6'2" guy to fight now. How many of the great heavyweights in history have been in those brackets? All of them? Geez...now if you are 6' 220 lbs you are screwed. To big for cruiser n way to small to compete with the Giants in the heavyweight division. There's a lot of potentially great fighters just falling by the wayside cuz they have no division to compete in. Don't care what people say, great HW champs of the past would have a very hard time competing against 6'6" 250 lbs monsters of today. Even while being much more skilled and technically sound. We need a super heavyweight division...or 2 even!!!!

    Any division that lacks melanin.
