What are you going to say about Jacobs this time?

We know that he can't get Canelo next. Again, I too would love to see the Jacobs fight. But I think BJS is more important. But there's issues with money, and he's now fighting on the Wlad-Fury undercard, which means that he wouldn't be free in December. But my thinking is: He really needs to fight BJS before Canelo does. Because I think that if Canelo were to beat BJS, he'd hang onto the WBO's belt and Oscar would be just about impossible to negotiate with. Whereas GG would have more leverage with all 4 of the main belts. And in my opinion, Jacobs isn't really going anywhere for the time being. Because if the WBA haven't mandated him to fight GG next, they'll surely have to at some point. Also, I don't think Oscar would target Jacobs for Canelo. Again, we need to fight out who GG's next mandatory is, and with which org. Because he may need to fight someone else before he can fight either one of Jacobs or BJS. But if he can fight Jacobs in December, then that would be great. But does Jacobs really want the fight? He's said these things before. If he is the mandatory, will he be happy with the purse?

Again, so what if he put it out there?

An after fight call out means nothing really.

    Anybody can say anything.

Again, we'd first need to find out the following:

    If Jacobs is serious.

If a December date is available for them.

If he'd be happy with the purse.

I'm already over GG Canelo, but I hold out hope that GG at least gets the chance at the true MW title by gaining it through a fight with the lineal champion(won't happen) or establishing his own lineage. To me that is the only flaw when it comes to the lineage argument. I am a firm believer that once you duck your mandatory, you lose the title automatically and that the title should be made vacant.

Saunders can't beat GG which is why I don't want to see the fight. GG doesn't need the WBO title in order to have all 4 titles to force a fight with Canelo. Mathematically you could be correct about GG fighting Saunders, but GG already took Canelo's respect. I'm not ordering his ppv. That ship has sailed. If GG beats Jacobs, in my mind he will be the lineal MW champion. That's the only problem that I have with the "lineal" argument.

    Good points.

    I respect your opinion.

Personally, I would love to see GG fight BJS though. I'm a big fan of Billy.

Yeah but he got so much criticism when he did it before. Now nobody can say anything. I didn't take Jacobs serious the first time he said he wanted GG. Fighters do that kind of stuff for publicity. It doesn't seem like he wants publicity this time.

I think that he wants to fight. The man said he has an open date in December, he is GG's mandatory and if anyone has to ask any organization if they can take care of their mandatory it's GG. Make the Jacobs fight and that fight IMO will gain him more respect than any fighter that he has faced.

Saunders IMO is just one big fight away from playing with the big boys. Saunders Canelo could be a very good fight and the winner faces the GG Jacobs winner lol. Wishful thinking but I can dream.

Read this the other day and it makes a lot of sense. Jacobs mentioned a date and VENUE which means he may say he's ready for GGG but he also just said that he will refuse to negotiate and will pretend to be the A-Side and want to fight on showtime even tho GGG is exclusive to HBO. And when all this falls through Jacobs will say GGG is ducking me and doesn't wanna cave in negotiations.

I don't want to assume all of that yet. The next few weeks will tell it all.

Fat Dan said GGG's next fight is in LA. That is Jacobs way out of the fight but the WBA said if both won they are ordering the mandatory so it is either fight or disgracefully drop the belt for Jacobs. He is cornered just like Canelo was. We saw what happened there.

He isn't cornered at all. We will find out in the near future as these chain of events takes place.

If GG and Jacobs negotiate and the fight goes to a purse bid then we will find out a lot more. I never thought that Wilder Povetkin would need to go to a purse bid.

He absolutely is cornered. It is fight GGG or drop his trinket according to the WBA. There isn't a way out. What would you call that?

Yeah, and he wants to fight GG only you don't think that he does. My guess is that you're relying on what he said before instead of what he said last night. He isn't cornered at all, foh lmao...

You seem to not understand this. I don't care what Jacobs 'said'. Fighters can say anything look to Canelo as an example. The beauty of a Mandatory situation is if negotiations break down for any reason there is a purse bid. No way out from that. None. So, if there is no fight guess whose fault it is? Not GGG's. Jacobs should have enforced this Mandatory over a year ago.

You're banking in on Jacobs vacating aren't you? That's pure speculation mofo, that isn't fact. And you seem to think that I'm siding with Jacobs, and I'm not. You're just showing the true GG dick rider that you are. **** hasn't even happened and you already have Jacobs ducking GG. Foh...
