Cotto didn't lose heart, although it might have been broken by the end of the fight. He simply ran out of steam and didn't have the energy to continue effectively.

Henry Cooper would have KO'd Cassius Clay if not for the picked glove

Lot more too it than that.Cotto fought well but Margarito couldnt be deterred or hurt.
Thats WHY he ran out of steam, punching the relentless Margo,to no avail.
Any other WW fighter would have been ko'd well before the 11th after taking those shots so stamina wouldnt have been an issue.Margarito made Cotto's energy a factor by having a Mount Rushmore Chin.
Cotto, didnt have bad stamina problems,he had bad Margarito problems.

    Anyway,we digress.

Dont really have any controversial opinions on boxing.

As "me too" posts are insufferably boring, I rarely post ...

Mike Tyson is the most over-rated fighters of all time, and his legacy is a fraud; and thats wihtout the ****, ear biting and general ****ish attitude to life and boxing as a whole.

    Hamed is overrated.

Sugar Ray Leonard is a complete tool.

    Benn was better than Eubank.

Hagler would have destroyed SRL in a rematch.

Bernard Hopkins is overrated (although, the level I hold this is declining with almost each fight he is in).

Duran is top 3 P4P of all time.

    I know, I have issues.

Had Duran been totally focused, he could have beat leonard at the rematch.
JCC would tko mayweather jr at 130,135 and 140

Margarito would make a 12 round fight against hearns

    Hatton will beat pacquiao
Angelo Dundee is the best trainer of all time
Tyson would TKO wlad and make him cry
Juan Manuel Marquez would give PBF a very tough fight at 130 and 135

Watson was better than Benn AND Eubank.

    Dick Tiger beats Marvin Hagler.
