what are your favorite staredowns

I literally went to YouTube and searched "Holyfield Tyson staredown" and it popped up.

One I always loved was Monzon vs Nino 2.

Carlos was looking down contemplating what he was going to do with the rest of his night Nino on the other hand...

"Starring down is a sign of intimidation, it's primal, you got to look them in the eyes"

 

I have no words...

 

Also, let's consider things. They weren't strangers. They were both in the same Olympic trials. There's a story floating around about no HW wanting to spar with Tyson anymore because he kept knocking everyone senseless, Holyfield (despite being a LHW at the time) volunteering to spar with him because of course Holyfield would pick a fight with the baddest guy there, and then Holyfield immediately turning it into a slugfest and it being broken up. I get that Holy had looked diminished for a bit before Tyson fought him, but just take one look at how Holyfield appeared when he stepped into that ring.

Yeah. Not crazy at all.

And then what happened? Oh yeah, Holyfield ruined Tyson forever. If Tyson had somewhat recovered after Douglas, he was done after Holyfield. His aura was gone.

 

Oh, you mean that the staredown I described is not what happened?
