Then again on paper I wouldn't think he'd lose to Honeyghan as well, nor would I expect him to blasted out by one left hook from McCallum.
I thought the first fight was very close and could've gone either way. I heard he won the rematch clearly, after both guys had improved some. The copy I have isn't all of the fight, it's only some rounds.
I rate Curry above Nosley and i think he would have kicked his ass too... Nosley is such a dumb fighter.. Of all the elite fighter, he's prolly the dumbest ive seen.
Curry would own all the current welters.... that includes Floyd and Manny. He woulda knocked out Cotto in the mid to late rounds, and he woulda knocked out Berto within 3.
A prime Curry would stop the CURRENT Mosley, and would do so in one sided fashion. Now if you take a prime Curry vs the 00-01 Mosley, THEN you have a helluva fight... but I'd still pick Curry by decision over prime Shane.
Curry was an efficient machine on offense. He would be at the top among current champions. Floyd would have given him problems, though.
