What are your reasons for not liking a particular fighter?

I take an instant dislike for runners, huggers or dirty fighters.

 

Dirty fighters, and guys who talk non sense.

 

Overweight fighters and huggers who are boring. If you're being paid to do something then at least do it properly- you've got nothing else to do all day so at least hit the gym like a professional athlete! Also, if you are in boxing then at least box! There's no need to hug someone all night long- this isn't the UFC. Matt Skelton of England is a perfect example of the type of fighter I loath and falls into both of these categories and I've never liked him. Personally, I don't mind fighters who run their mouths- it's always entertaining to see if they can back it up or are made to look stupid. They also keep the sport interesting by stoking up interest.

 

Fighters who get gifts repeatedly.

 

Fighters who dodge other fighters.
Patteson (I was a kid so didn't realise he was doding Foli, Machen and Liston) SRL, never rematching Benitez, taking a life time to rematch Hearns and Duran.
Jones dodging DM.

and of course Lewis dodging Ruiz......:nut

I hate fighters who are absolutely delusional.

 

The problem with Skelton is he was a professional kickboxer for years and had a 63-8(57) record before he came into boxing.
With starting boxing at 35, he didn't have the boxing tecnique or fundamentals.
Not pretty, but did well in short space of time with limited boxing ability.

 

Agree with McGain, I just cant stand Khan, and MAB is one of my AT favourite fighters to watch, to see him done like that made me so damn pissed.
For some reason Hatton has always pissed me off as well, seems to try to hard to push this 'man of the people' crap.

I'm not disrespecting him, dude, I just don't like watching him fight. He's incredibly boring. As a bloke he always comes across in interviews as a nice guy but if he's on TV I won't watch him fight.

 

Huggers and Dirty Fighters e.g Hatton

Overweight Fighters e.g A lot of of the British Heavyweights, Mcdermott etc

MOuthy fighters add an extra dimension to matches sometimes so I dont mind them, whether or not they win.

 

Fighters with HIV/AIDS or Hepatitus. I understand the need for a boxer to bring everything to the table in a fight, but this is over the top.

Oh, and lard asses, like the one who got KO'd by Monk Foreman...or most other heavyweights today...
